Make-up for a wedding at St Paul’s Cathedral in London
Beautiful bride Jessica got married at the very grand setting of St Paul’s Cathedral in London, captured here on the steps to the cathedral by London wedding photographer Matt Badenoch: https://www.mattbadenoch.com/
Jessica wanted a very special look for her wedding day, so I created a soft smoky eye for her using dark taupe eye shadows from the Clinique ‘Neutral Territory’ palette, followed by a flick of ‘Barbarella Brown’ pencil eyeliner by Charlotte Tilbury.
Beginning with a mattifying primer, I then blended in Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation using a foundation buffing brush, followed by The Body Shop Honey Bronze in the lightest shade for a subtle summery glow, and a light dusting of MAC blusher in the shade ‘Rosy Outlook’, which is a peachy-pink shade that I often reach for when doing bridal make-up.
I then completed the look by applying Bobbi Brown lipstick in the shade ‘Cosmic Raspberry’ for a vibrant summery lip.
For Jessica’s bridesmaids, I created a subtle and natural make-up look with neutral tones on the eyes and lips, to contrast with their bright dresses.
