Kim’s wedding day was captured by London based photographer Barima Owusu-Nyantekyi:
After hydrating Kimaya’s skin with an oil-free moisturizer, I patted Becca Ever Matte primer on her t-zone, to prevent any unwanted shine from occurring later in the day. I then buffed in Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation in shade no. 6, and Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in the shade ‘Natural Tan’ to cover any shadows under her eyes.
I set her base with Bourjois Healthy Mix Powder in the shade ‘Vanilla’ and did some subtle contouring with NARS ‘Laguna’ bronzing powder. I then added some peach blusher to warm her cheeks, and applied a little golden shimmer along the tops of her cheekbones, down the centre of her nose and in the inner corners of her eyes – I used Laura Geller highlighter in ‘Gilded Honey’ for this.
I used a soft rose gold shade called ‘Marzipan’ by Too Faced on Kimaya’s eyelids, darkened at the outer corners with the shade ‘Triple Fudge’, a flick of black eyeliner and Ardell 110 lashes to add more definition on the eyes. Kimaya already has really neat eyebrows, do I just ran through them with some Benefit brow gel to lock them in place during the day.
Kimaya wanted a peachy lip, so I applied Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in ‘Sexy Sienna’, which is a soft matte coral.
We did beach waves at her wedding trial, but having been inspired by Megan Markle’s wedding look earlier this summer, Kim decided on her wedding morning that she actually wanted to wear her long, thick hair in a soft bun. So I curled her hair on a large wand (Babyliss Boutique Salon Soft Waves, brushed it out and pulled it back into a donut ring. I then pinned all the curls softly into the donut, before adding her beautiful diamante headdress.
