Hair & make-up for a wedding at Amba Hotel in London

Amba Hotel is a modern and luxurious four star hotel on The Strand, housed within a beautiful Grade II listed building, very near to many many of London’s top attractions, and you can hire one of their big rooms for a wedding reception.

Raman has very good, clear skin, so I just blended in some Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint in the shade ‘Beach 03’ and a little Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in ‘Warm Natural’ where needed, before setting her base with Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder in ‘Vanilla’ to prevent any shine. I then used the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow duo palette to sculpt and highlight her face, and a rich peach blusher to warm her cheeks.
To create a soft smoky eye, I mainly used Too Faced eye shadow in ‘Amaretto’ (a deep cherry shade) on Raman’s lids, then black liquid eyeliner and Ardell 110 lashes to add more intensity. I brushed a dark brow gel though her brows to keep them neat.
Finally, I applied a darker nude lip liner to define her lips, before applying Charlotte Tilbury lip gloss in ‘Ibiza Nights’, which is a transparent gloss loaded with iridescent gold sparkles.
Raman wanted to wear her hair up in a sleek and elegant bun, so pulled her hair up into a fairly high smooth ponytail, before swirling and pinning the hair into a bun shape. Her veil was then inserted underneath the bun.
