Hair and make-up for an elegant wedding in central London
Although this looks like a shot from a country wedding, gorgeous bride Lily actually got married at The Honorable Society of Gray’s Inn in the Holborn area of central London, captured here by Jordan Banks at Source Images: http://sourceimages.co.uk/
Lily wanted a delicate and very natural make-up look for her wedding day, so I began by using a mattifying primer on her t-zone, followed by Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation in the shade ‘2 Fair’, and a little Clarins Instant Concealer under her eyes.
I then dusted on a light bronzing powder for a subtle summer glow, followed by Liz Earle blusher in the shade ‘Camellia’, which is a delicate peachy-pink shade, and Laura Mercier highlighter for a subtle glow on the tops of her cheekbones.
Lily wanted a very natural look for her eyes, so I applied Too Faced eye shadow in ‘Marzipan’ (a warm, pearly brown) to her lids, followed by a fine line of black eyeliner for a little definition.
I then applied Charlotte Tilbury lipliner in the shade ‘Pillow Talk’ followed by lipstick in the shade ‘Kim KW’ for a peachy-nude lip.
For Lily’s hair style, I created loose romantic waves using a tong, and then twisted and pinned sections back softly, for an effortless and natural effect.
