Bridal makeup & hair styling for a wedding at ‘The Old Rectory Estate’ in Bletchingley

‘The Old Rectory Estate’ is a historic Georgian house which sits in the Surrey Hills, surrounded by eight acres of beautiful Italian gardens. With it’s stunning selection of water features and sculptures, the venue is used for fashion and film shoots – and it would also make the perfect place for your own special wedding photos! You can book either their full wedding package, or just the ceremony which can be held in the estate hall or in the water gardens. If you are looking for a family owned and run venue that would be exclusively for your own use, then this classy and elegant venue is definitely worth a visit.

To create Kathryn’s bridal make-up look, I applied Charlotte Tilbury foundation in shade no. 4 to even out her skin tone, and a little Charlotte Tilbury ‘Beautiful Skin’ concealer in shade 4.5 to hide any shadows under her eyes, before setting her base with the Huda Beauty Easy Bake loose setting powder in the shade ‘Pound Cake’.
I then warmed up her face with the Charlotte Tilbury ‘Airbrush Bronzer’ in the lightest shade, and Charlotte Tilbury blusher in ‘First Love’, which is a delicate light warm pink.
I applied the soft champagne and taupe shades from the Charlotte Tilbury ‘Exaggereyes’ eyeshadow palette on Kathyrn’s lids, and then lined her eyes with a dark brown pencil eyeliner for definition, paired with some lightweight Ardell false lashes.
To define her lips I applied the Charlotte Tilbury lip pencil in ‘Supersize Me’ which is a deeper rose shade, topped with the bride’s own YSL ‘Nu Fatal’, which is her favouite nude lipstick.
I also created a classic half up do with soft waves, to complement the off-the-shoulder neckline of Kathryn’s gorgeous wedding dress.
