Max Factor Creme Puff blush in ‘Nude Mauve’
At only £8.99 a pot, this blusher is a really nice little bargain and arguably a budget dupe for the highly acclaimed Hourglass blushers, which have a similar marbled look and radiant finish. Although this is technically a powder blusher, this baked powder feels almost creamy when you touch the surface.
It comes in six shades – pictured here is the not very excitingly named ‘Nude Mauve’ (mauve always makes me think of little old ladies for some reason!) but it’s actually a really pretty and subtle shade which looks a light tan from certain angles and a natural pink from others – this is due to what Max Factor call its ‘multi-tonal pigments’.
I also tested out ‘Lovely Pink’ from this range, which is a pretty mix of light peach and warm pink pigments with a subtle sparkly finish.
