Nails Inc Snowglobe nail polish in ‘New Globe Walk’
I couldn’t resist treating myself to this gorgeous limited edition ‘Snowglobe’ nail polish from Nails Inc, and I think it would make an ideal stocking filler for girl friends, or ‘Secret Santa’ present for colleagues (affiliate link below):
It comes in a gorgeous chunky glass bottle, and is quite a liquidy clear nail varnish with lots of fine gold glitter particles. These particles gradually settle at the bottom of the bottle when you’re not using it, and then when you shake the bottle, it stirs them all up, just like a snow globe! It’s a simple concept but quite enchanting, I suppose because it has a magical festive quality to it.
You can apply this on its own to give your nails a subtle gold twinkle, but I prefer to apply it over a darker coloured nail varnish as a top coat. I tried it over a dark plummy-red nail polish and it gives a very subtle glittery effect, nothing too garish at all. You could also apply it just to the tips of your nails, so that it looks like you’re dipped your nails in gold dust.
