Max Factor ‘Facefinity’ All Day Primer
Primer is something that I use on all my bridal clients, to help their make-up last all day. Although I’ve yet to find my ‘holy grail’ primer, I do really like this ‘Facefinity All Day Primer’ by Max Factor (£10.99).
It is a light and non-sticky translucent gel that sinks into the skin quickly, giving your base something to grip on to. One beauty blogger recently described this as “super glue for the face”, which doesn’t sound very glamorous I know, but it does does work. It also has SPF 20, so it is very useful for summer weddings, to prevent the bride getting sunburnt!
If you do have a lot of visible open pores, I would recommend that you also use a silicone based primer (such as Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch) on those areas only, as this doesn’t really smooth out the skin in that way, it only promises to help your make-up to last longer.
